Re: What names on the charts right now is the worst?
And for the girls...#11: HarperI absolutely can't stand this one and I can only hope that it disappears as quickly as it arrived. I could honestly write a whole essay on how much I hate this name, but I'm not going to. I'm just glad that it just isn't in the top 10 anymore. #27 HazelMakes me think of the eye color and of witch hazel.#32 NovaMakes me think of novocaine and of PBS. No thanks. If someone is really into space-themed names, then sure, I get that. I still don't care for it. #34 Madison Thrilled to see this one losing traction, much like Harper. The name has always sounded incredibly annoying and bratty to me. #53 PaisleyUgly like the pattern. Hate it. #61 Kinsley Cutesy and will age poorly, similar to most of the names on this list. Also likely to get mixed up with the boy's name Kingsley on a constant basis. #65 GenesisTall order naming a kid this. #92 Brooklyn Better than naming a kid Bronx, Manhattan, or like Staten Island, but still incredibly tacky. Brook/Brooke is better.#74 KennedyThese surnames turned "girl" names are just bizarre. Names like Kennedy and Mackenzie are prime examples of that. I don't understand the appeal of naming a kid this, especially for a girl. #81 AubreyAudrey is just better. Sounds nicer too. #96 SerenityTacky and cheap#100 RaelynnSounds like railing.🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷

I thought I was the only person who first thought of Novocaine when hearing the word nova. Paisley I also think is so ugly, and I have known both adult Paisleys and Kinsleys and agree it doesn’t age well. I actually thought Kinsley was a nickname and was wondering why she was asking me to call her such a cutesy nickname when I had only just met her.
