Jean is the name I am always called by. It's my middle name (my first name is Kathryn) but as the Kathryn was after an Aunt who lived very near us, Jean was thought to be best. i've always liked both my names. wouldn't change them.

Glad to hear you've had a positive experience with your names (both of them)! I'm Katherine as well, but I don't like it very much (too many of us, and too many who also go by Katie).
