Gilda is edgy, and yes jazzier than Hilda. I pronounce it the way you do, and was surprised by the origin and meaning - I thought it was related to gold (which I suppose it is in a roundabout way…). I still wouldn’t pair it with any colour names in the middle.

Gilda Iris (colour name but I always think more of eyes)
