My husband was telling me how much he likes the name Hilda, which would be spelled "Gilda" in Spain to get the Hilda pronunciation! I love both the names, but especially Gilda (with the hard G). It's so brightly eccentric and warm. It has so much personality. It's a very "me" sort of name and I'd use it in a red hot minute!
