Was he born on Halloween? Because it sounds like it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Rocky was halfway picked because of rock music. It's cheesy, but I prefer it to a bunch of names: Woody, Willie, Legend, Rocco, Star, Brock, Tanner, Stone, Monty, Bishop, Gunner, Chuck, Grady, Canyon, Ridge, Romeo, Roman, Ryder, Randy, Reign, Riley, Jaxxon, Mack, Stanley, Rockwell...I feel like it's about as dorky as Roland, Rudolph, Ralph, Rex, Chase, Roscoe, Sonny, or Brody, which don't seem so bad to me.
It's interesting that Rocky potentially connects to a patron saint of the sick; I wouldn't have guessed so, but I could like that about it.
Thirteen is a classic rock song. Rock and Roll is here to stay. I don't know if that's an intentional reference or not. It's also a Johnny Cash song...

But whatever. Since I am fond of Sevyn, Sixtine, and Octave, I feel like I can't judge Thirteen just for being a number. It's the spooky vibe that jumps out to me as being iffy or almost sarcastic.
