What an astonishing, and tragic, situation. Did the article specify who named the girls - their birth mother or their adoptive mothers?
I like Barbara, though I'd be surprised to find one younger than about 65. I'd use Vickie with that spelling, rather than Victoria, because that's what a very good friend is named. Annie is awful, but Anne as a mn and fn is a family stand-by. I love Ruth and Pamela; Lucinda is OK I suppose, but I'd rather have Lucy than Cindy, as a fn or a nn. I'd also prefer Helen to Ellen. The others do not impress.
