11 Sisters & Their Names
There was an article back in May about a woman who was one of 11 kids that all got put up for adoption, then got separated. She spent several years looking for them and managed to find all of them.
The main sister is called Barbara; she stayed with one sister, Kay. Other sisters were called Ruth, Ellen, Laverne, Annie, Bobby, twins Vicky and Micky, Pamela, and Cindy. Cindy was born after the other girls were given up.
WDYT?
Let me find the article because the link was originally on my iPhone.

Cynthia is a cool name but I don't love Cindy, Barbara is kind of nice actually, Varvara is my favorite form tbh. Kay is a cute nickname but somewhat insubstantial, Katherine or something might fit a little better. Bobby is fun as a girls name, though I'd probably expecting it to be spelled Bobbi.
The names sound very of the time. I don't care for Laverne, but Vicky and Micky together are the only ones that are bad. The others are just super trendy. It would be like sisters named Abigail, Olivia, Skylar, Penelope, Riley, Nora & Nova, Piper, and Mila or something.
From the article, it sounds like Barbara was one of the youngest sisters. She didn't remember her mom and the girls' father(s) aren't really mentioned. Barbara's foster experience was horrible. I hope the other sisters were in better situations.

I assume this is an older family, either boomers or older.
My favorites are Ellen, Kay, Annie, and Pamela. I don't like rhyming names for twins.

What an astonishing, and tragic, situation. Did the article specify who named the girls - their birth mother or their adoptive mothers?
I like Barbara, though I'd be surprised to find one younger than about 65. I'd use Vickie with that spelling, rather than Victoria, because that's what a very good friend is named. Annie is awful, but Anne as a mn and fn is a family stand-by. I love Ruth and Pamela; Lucinda is OK I suppose, but I'd rather have Lucy than Cindy, as a fn or a nn. I'd also prefer Helen to Ellen. The others do not impress.
