FernGully
I'm sorry, the first thing I thought of was the FernGully movie (a.k.a. the movie schools played in the 90s and 2000s every Earth Day). Now, I enjoyed the movie as a kid, but a name evoking FernGully (even if it's Fernlily, which is technically different) is just too much for me.

That was my first association, too. (haha, my schools never mentioned Earth Day...I saw it in the theater when I was 3. That movie scared me.)
Though, I do think it sounds more pleasant than FernGully - more like a fragrance, as RoxStar said. A floral fougere.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one; I remember first seeing this movie back in 2008, and Batty was my favorite character. I didn't see that movie much in school, because my schools did more "Talkin' Trash" presentations for Earth Day. Also, I only went to school in the 2000s during the years 2008 and 2009. That's what this name reminds me of, though; I think of Batty, being adorable. I think Fern is nice on its own, but Fernlily does seem a little over the top, in my personal opinion.
Could just about do for the daughter of a mad botanist in a laboratory, working long hours to achieve what nobody else has ever even bothered to try. Otherwise, no.
Yes, far too sweet. And so far as I know, nonsensical; there isn't really even a plant called a fernlily, is there?
I like Fern but not Lily. Fern feels much more spirited and interesting than Lily.

I 100% agree with you again and there no such plant.
what it reminds me of ...
Is hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works. I pick up a bagful everytime I'm in the mall, and the names of the scents sometimes sound exactly like Fernlily. Or they're cmpletely unhelpful like A Hundred Wishes.

Don't like it, too botanic
My first thought is Ferngully.
I’m not exactly a fan but I don’t dislike it either.

Zephyrlily is fun and less abrupt
