Too 80's for me.
I like Robin (boy) best, then Robin (girl), and Robyn last.

For me Robin is a truly unisex name. I have known three male Robin's and two women, three if you include one who is exclusively "Roz"The Y spelling is OK.

Show me love, and what's it's all about...Sorry, I was like, 15 when that song came out, I had to get it out of my system.Anyway, I think Robyn is kind of cute, but dated. Not that "dated" is the worst thing you can call a name, but I assume a Robyn would have been born in 1976. The bird imagery is nice, though.

This is my aunt’s name. I think it’s really pretty and the ‘-yn’ comes off somewhat gothic to me for some reason

It's very dated, and the "yn" is very ugly to me. Robin's better (especially on a boy).

I love it! So cute and wholesome sounding. I do agree it’s got a 60s vibe but that’s a good thing.

I like it. It's so bright and cheerful.
I say this even though I once knew a really spoiled, obnoxious, manipulative girl named Robyn who keyed her father's car when he for once in his life told her no and stuck to it; he was my mother's boyfriend at the time. She told him I had done it and even though she was the one with the motive, he believed her and he nearly knocked my head off. She and I had a come-to-Jesus fight later, of course.

Certainly unsuitable for a boy! I find it dated, and would never use it. I far prefer Robin as a m name.

Love it but prefer Robin.
