I like it’s plainness and international vibe. Wouldn’t be against using it, either as a full name or middle name, especially as it would honor my mother.

Anna is classy, pretty, and poised. Good name that never really gets old. It needs something to pump it up.

I think it's very appealing when pronounced Ah-na / "on a"
I find it very boring, but not unpleasant, when it's pronounced "an a"

It’s pretty in a basic way. By basic in this instance I mean long-established and simplistic. It’s a timeless classic. I find it more elegant than Hannah (the H’s are unnecessary clutter imo) and more substantial than something similar like Ella (I think it’s the N’s vs L’s in this case). But I guess I can also see why some people view its simplicity as boring.

It's so boring.

Used to be my favourite name (looong time ago). It's elegant, yet modest. I also found Anne and Annie cute.
But Anna lost its spark, mostly because I know tons of Annas. Plus, I've got a cousin named Anna, so I think I can't ever use it.

Better than Hannah; not as good as Ann(e). Fits today's preference for names like Ella and Emma.
