Belizameth
So, here’s a story: on sept 27th 2020, me and my parents went to a restaurant and the waitress said “Hello my name is Taylor this is Belizameth we will be taking care of you today.” I thought she said Elizabeth since that is a very common name, but it turned out this way: so I saw a name tag on the waitress in training and it said “Hello, my name is Belizameth”. Can u believe it? So I wasn’t sure if Belizameth was her real name or if she changed her name or if it was a nickname for herself, but isn’t that cool? I myself am a big fan of Elizabeth and its variants, so I actually kind of like Belizameth! Check out the place name site to see the name Belizameth that I submitted. Tell me your thoughts about this story and this name. What do u think: 1. Belizameth was her real given name. 2. She changed her name to Belizameth. 3. Belizameth was just a nickname she gave herself. Please answer 1, 2, or 3.

This restaurant was called Speckled Trout. It was in Blowing Rock, NC. Have any of you been to this restaurant?
Yeah I checked out your profile it's all real or made up Elizabeth variants so strong vibes you just made this up.
No way. I did NOT make this up!!!! I AM NOT LYING!! Trust me it’s true!
When people are telling the truth, they tend not to be very defensive when someone thinks they are lying...

That's not true. Stop thinking that I'm lying and continue the conversation! I actually didn't invent the name Belizameth, I actually saw it on a nametag, so there! P.S. sorry if I'm getting too angry; I have autism and sometimes I get a lil too harsh, so I apologize. I wouldn't have made my story that specific if I was lying, anyway.
I think you made the story up for kicks tbh. It's okay if you did but you should own it when you make up names imo.
Stop thinking that I made it up!!!!! Seriously I wasn’t just doing it to be heard! I literally did NOT make it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am never speaking to u again, Dianatiger. Continuing with the topic.
😅🤣 ok?
I'd guess that she was originally Elizabeth, and that Belizameth was her best attempt at saying her own name when she was a very young child. And it was so cute and funny that it became the name the whole family called her, and it's lasted until now. But, realistically, I'd also guess that in view of the poster's own user name, it might be an invention. If so, it's a convincing one.
Thanks anneza! That’s a great thought. Why didn’t I think of that? Thank you!
I can’t say that I’m a fan, due to the “meth” ending. But, I especially adore the uniqueness of this name! That’s such a cool and lucky encounter!
Thanks! I agree about the meth part, too. But isn’t it just GORGEOUS!! So, namesarecool285, do you think 1, 2, or 3 from my options in my first message?

I think in Spanish it would be (Bay-LEE-sah-met). Maybe a spelling would be Belisamet. I love this name so much that I named my doll Belisameth and nicknamed her Bella!
