I like it. Leif is like leaf in my accent anyway so the sound isn't unfamiliar as a name, and I like hippie/plant names like Petal anyway.
(Although most people will probably think it is Leif and they'll have to say "Leaf like on a tree" all the time. I still like it though.)

Leaf seems unexpectedly boring.
Also, it reminded me of Joaquin Phoenix, «who went by the name Leaf in his younger years».By the way, I didn't know that he is khwa-KEEN, not kho-a-KEEN.Anyway I've got two questions:
• is Leaf worse than Peaches, Pebbles, Flower?
• what do you think of Liv?

Leaf is preferable to Peaches and Pebbles, but not to Flower.I like Liv well enough - it's less slimy than Olivia - but it's not a name I think about often. Rather flimsy

Leaf is not as bad as Peaches or Pebbles. Not nearly!
It's about as bad as Flower.
I pronounce Liv like the second syllable in Olivia, and I like it.
I have to try hard to say Liv as "leaf" so for that reason I don't feel like I like it, but it's fine. That pronunciation of Joaquin, btw, is how I learned to say San Joaquin Valley when I grew up in California. It's pretty normal there, I think, at least among people whose first language is English.

Well it's how I pronounce Leif (yes I know that's wrong), but I'm guessing it's a girl?I can't decide if it's better or the same as Apple...
