Cody or Ellery?
Which do you prefer as a middle name for Jacob and/or James?

Ellery. Much classier. Always makes me think of Ellery Queen, though, so I often equate it with names like Sherlock and Hurcule but that is neither here nor there.

Cody. Ellery sounds feminine and similar to the name Mallory. But the thing is, Jacob Cody won't flow good though.

Jacob Cody is a great name that would work on any kid. I keep hearing people using the word flow, which reminds me of sanitation mostly—perhaps melody or lyricism are better concepts (and don’t remind one of menstrual blood).

Also, it bothers me when people claim they are the authority on “flow” (gross!), even though it is pure arbitration. Perhaps describing the consonant placement as difficult for you personally is a more honest statement. I’d have no difficulty, myself.I will probably always pick on people who use flow. It’s not meant as a personal jab.

Yes, that's what I meant.
Sorry for my unclear wordings 😅

No worries. I just think “flow” is my “moist”—a word that makes me feel nasty. I’m weird.

probably Ellery, but jsyk ZPeacock if you just want a quick this or that answer the polls are probably best for that, you get more answers that way anyways.
