It seems kind of dated to the 80s and 90s for me. I prefer the spelling Allison. It looks more complete somehow.

I really like it. Ali is a nice nickname. I kind of prefer Allison, but mostly because the nickname Allie is more usable than with Alison.

I like it very much and would have considered it, but DH couldn't for family reasons. I dislike Allison - unnecessarily complicated, and I think I prefer Alice. Usually that's the case; sometimes not.

I think that Alison is a very wonderful name! I’d use it, if I were able to. Ali is a wonderful nickname, as well. I do prefer the Allison spelling over the Alison spelling. I also prefer the look of Ally to Ali.
