I don’t care for it. It’s okay for a nickname for Patricia but I’d go with Patty.

Patsy is less usual and therefore somewhat better than Patty or Pat, or Tricia or Trish. But I find it unappealing, which I don't quite understand because I really like Betsy very much and am neutral at best about Betty.

I don’t like it as I think cow patty. I sometimes call my hedgehog a crabby patty when she’s upset.

It was my grandmother's name, but that doesn't keep me from thinking it's a godawful ugly name. It's like something falling splat! on the floor, wet and flat. And it's also like a "mark" or the person who gets swindled.

Patsy is cute. I think Patty is even cuter.
