Because of hock as in pawn, or a hock of ham.
And hawking a loogie.
I could see it, though.
It's not as bad as Puck, Chuck, Doc, Rock, Huckleberry imo.
I'm not sure if it's better or worse than Buck, Brock, Hank, Heath, Hawthorn.
I used to know brothers named Bucky and Heath, and I feel like it'd fit in. Bucky, Heath, & Hawk. Or something like Hazel, Cliff, & Hawk
