I was thinking about the name Magnolia the other day because I came across some magnolia scented hand soap. I think it has a beautiful sound, and Maggie and Nola are both cute (although I'd prefer Magnolia in full). The flowers are lovely too. I wouldn't use it on my own child but I'd enjoy seeing it on someone else's.

Magnolia is a languishing, wilting, drawling, sweltering Southern Belle. Maggie is hideous. Nola is only slightly more tolerable. The flowers are gorgeous, though.

Magnolia it's ok. It's nice for a character but I would never use it on a real child.
I'd use Magnolia Eve, Caroline Jane and Harrison Chase.
