Saffron is weirdly tacky to me. Like it wants to sound ever so tasteful and exotic, and so it comes off kinda the opposite. Is it a name because the spice is very expensive? Or maybe it's a name after the color. Yellow. But nobody names kids Mustard or Turmeric after the yellow color of those ... I think it's just a name because it sounds expensive. And maybe also because it sounds like "sassy" and has an ending that looks sorta French. That's my impression.
I might have liked Saffron for those reasons, myself. Except I don't happen to like it.
I *don't* like the sound of it. So I dis-like it extra hard.
Saffron Domini is silly. Because of the "Lord's" thing. God's saffron. It's funny.
I don't mind it if I think of her as rocking a goofy name, rather than thinking of the name as trying to be unique in a cool, cute way.
Prosper Chapel and Tempest Remedy are funnier than Saffron Domini.
Maybe I'd call the siblings ...
Caviar Mariae
