Double names
Hi -- what do you think of making two names as a first name (a.k.a. double-barrelled first name, or double name)?
Would you prefer a hyphenated double name (Jo-Ann), unhyphenated one (Jo Ann), combined (Joann), or combined with two capital letters (JoAnn)?
Do you have any double names that you like?
I like Anne-Marie, Billie Jean, Bobbi Jo, Fanny Jane (not really), Maria Magdalena, Marie-Antoinette, Marie-Pierre, Mary Elizabeth, Mary Margaret, Sarah Catherine, and Sue Ellen.
Plus Anna-Grace and Demi-Leigh, also Ripley Rue. For boys I like John Paul or John Peter.

Generally speaking, I find double names tedious and unoriginal, although I do like some.
I prefer Marianne to Mary Anne. I don't like hyphens or spaces in names, because they confuse me. I also prefer Rosalie to Rosalee.
I love Carolivia. The rest I just like:
Annajane
Annamarie
Annalena
Aubrianna
Louisa-May

If I have to have a double first name, I'd prefer it hyphened. It's easier to tell that it's a double name that way. Regardless, I'm not a fan of double first names. If they're put together as one name (ex.: Amybeth or Tessalyn), I'm fine with that.
