No familiarity with Marzena on my end but I think it sounds rather pretty!
It's dated and kind of rural. I don't like how it sounds or looks.
I think of marzipan! Yum!

Very strange where I live: Maizena is such a popular brand of cornflour that recipes just say 3T Maizena rather than 3T cornflower. And it's far too close to Marzena for me to see Marzena as even somewhat human.
