Patricia
Well, it used to be a very popular name around the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. Does it really need a comeback? What do you think of the name Patricia?

I was struck by the number of people my age that I encountered with this name in college, in particular. I'm not 30, and it seems most women named Patricia are in later middle age if not older.
I think it's perfectly fine, but I concur with another person, the nicknames really let it down. Patty / Patsy / Pat are all not great; Tricia / Trisha is somewhat better but still not great.
As far as a comeback.... maybe? At some point?

I like it. I think the name sounds patriotic and the syllables flow good with each other. I think it needs a comeback.
I've been thinking about Patricia a lot lately! I find it lovely and refreshing, though I grew up in the 90s and didn't know any Patricias my age. I like that the name is patently noble ("patrician") but totally accessible, and I love the nicknames Trix and Trixie.
