Re: Brianna/ Breanna

I definitely prefer Brianna to Breanna or Briana, but I’m not crazy about the name either way. To be Brianna is a very Gen-Z name along with Mikayla / Makayla for example so I’ve met a few of them to the point they either just remind me of a certain type of person or mean girl, and the spark is gone. The name is just kinda... there.
Breanna Taylor is a pretty unfortunate association I would not want for myself nonetheless a child. Objectively looking at it I can see the appeal, the sound is nice and it has a pretty look to it - but it’s giving basic honestly. I find it ironic it doesn’t even sound like Brian.
Brianna Imogen
Brianna Eunice
Brianna Héloïse
Brianna Michelle
Brianna Vivienne

I find what happened to her very sad obviously, and although I knew another Breanna (Or at least I think that’s how she spelled her name), that specific association with her is just unsettling... I mean she was killed in her sleep and all that stuff surrounded with her is just bad to me. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to be named Breanna or anything, but that’s me personally.
ETA: Just forgot it’s spelled Breonna Taylor.
