Crushing on Summer lately...
While I have never really paid this name much attention before, in the last couple months I've come to really enjoy Summer. Autumn has been in my Top 10 before (and I still really like the name - also it's my favorite season), but now Summer is sitting pretty in there - familiar, but not overly common; memorable, without being too odd.
My only problem right now is... combos. I can't decide on a middle name. I've played with several already:
Summer Alexandra
Summer Andromeda
Summer Elodie
Summer Evadne
Summer Evangeline
But I'm not 100% sold on any of them. What would you pair with Summer?

The recent post about seasonal names had me thinking about this.
I've always viewed Autumn as a more "established" season-turned-name, whereas Summer seemed younger to me as far as name usage. I don't know that there's any factual validity to that, but it has always been my perception.
Beside the point.
I have no qualms about Summer, but it isn't a particular favorite.
I would reiterate what RoxStar said below: the middle name shouldn't be a noun unless you want to it to sound like an air freshener. (Summer Rain, or something.)
I also think I would pair it with something older, more established. I also think it's a name that begs for a middle name beginning with a vowel sound:
Summer Alexandra
Summer Elena
Summer Elizabeth
Summer Irene
Summer Isabel / Isabelle / Isabella
Summer Ophelia

I always liked Summer, and Autumn too. The main thing to remember is that the mn shouldn't also be a noun unless you really want the combo to sound like a room freshener or paint color.
