Narcissa
What are your thoughts on Narcissa? I came across it today as the name of this American artist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissa_Niblack_Thorne~*~*~*~kuin metsäorvokki laaksossa

Yikes. The link to narcissism is too blatant to overlook.

Literally full of itself.

I associate it too much with Narcissa Malfoy from Harry Potter and the word narcissist.

I love it. It reminds me of narcissus flowers, and it's okay for a villain character that's probably too close to narcissism.

I’m sorry, but this name never sits well with me. I can appreciate the history of it. Also, Narcissa doesn’t sound completely horrible. However, I really can’t get past how it sounds like “narcissism”.

Narcissism is not an encouraging association. I'm glad my name isn't Narcissa; especially since in South Africa we mostly say 'Sis!' rather than 'Yuck' or 'Ugh'.

The sound isn't very attractive, and the mythological associations make it seem rather self-absorbed. But I like the association with Narcyza Żmichowska, a Polish writer and proto-feminist.

Narcyza is a cool variant: I think I prefer it to Narcissa.

I love Narcissa. It's a dramatic, elegant antique.
