I've never liked it for either sex. It has a harsh sound and makes me think of the English word "blare."

It’s okay on a girl, but I don’t think it’s works as a boys name as I sorta see it as an off brand Clair. Blair is to Clair as Bailey is to Hailey. I used to really like it, but now I’d never use it.

Its uber masculine, harsh and unattractive, it means battlefield for goodness sake. Would never use it, certainly not on a girl.

I think it works on either a boy or a girl, honestly. Although, I know more male Blairs.

I see this name as unisex. To be honest with you, I like the way that it sounds.

I don't know. I just looked at the popularity rankings and was struck at how popular the name seems to be for girls right now in the US; I figured this would be a rather dated fad name. I mean, Gossip Girl was kind of a thing when I was in high school (insofar as any CW shows were "things" before Netflix streaming), but Blair Waldorf wasn't exactly the kind of character one might view as aspirational for a child.

Definitely boy, I can't see anything feminine about it. I think it's kind of ugly tbh. Blare, bland, bleah, blah, blech...

Girl. Blair / Blaire is sitting on the still deciding list of my PNL, so I guess I really can’t answer how I feel about it!
