This is one of those names that I actually rather like but have such a hard time imagining it being used for a child anymore - it feels like a name that's hey-day has passed. I am actually struck that it's remained in the top 250 in the United States.I don't dislike Kim as a short former. Kimmy sounds... well, dumb to me. (When the only association I have is a "Full House" character I'm not likely to endorse it.)
