I said it to myself one night and could never forget it, What do you think of it for a girls name? NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SHILOH

...sorry, no. I wouldn't name my daughter Barn, so I can't say I'd name my child Silo.

I would really like it if it wasn’t what it, well, is. Though I think it would (hypothetically) be better on a boy. What about Silas or Milo for a boy, Shiloh for a girl?

I’m from the American Midwest and to me a silo is a storage place for grain not a girls name. Maybe you are thinking of Shiloh.

im also from the Midwest, but i was never thinking of the word Shiloh. i never liked that name. thanks for the feedback anyway

Perhaps you are confusing it with Shiloh? Which is a biblical place name and a Civil War battle site, but anything's better than being named after what we usually call a grain elevator.

It’s a tall tower that you keep grain in, or a figurative term meaning a repository kept isolated from other repositories. Definitely not a girls’ name!
