I think it needs a strong down-to-earth (no pun intended!) middle name to prevent the combo sounding flimsy or twee. I like your suggestions of Alys and Ann. I think Clare or Jane or Kate or Louise might work too.

I never really liked Primrose to be honest with you. But it’s has a whimsical and fairytale quality to it that just makes it nice and down to earth. I’ll give it that. From your list I like Primrose Ann and Primrose Celeste.
