I commented on the other SSA post that showed up at the same time as this one, but I am somewhat impressed that the girls list is so static, since popularity for feminine names is known to fluctuate more than for masculine names. Though the only real change is replacing Alexander with Theodore (which really did make quite the jump, I'm with you in awe). There are going to be lots of little Theos in the future (and then that's going to become a dated nickname, and 20 years from now people will start using Ted like their great-grandfathers.)Regarding Harper, I don't think she'll leave until a new "sporty" name takes her place. Avery has been falling, so I don't think that's the one. Same with Riley (plus other spelling variants).
