It was such a popular name choice here (UK) in the 1990s that I actually know more people with the name Rhiannon than I do Elizabeth or Katherine.
I think Rhiannon is easier to say than Aurora, I get stuck on all the Rs.
Most Rhiannon's I know go by their full name, one goes be Rhea.
I know another Sian Elizabeth Rhiannon, who goes exclusively by Rhiannon.
I think it's a friendly and pretty name. I really like it on other people and think it deserves its popularity. I'm surprised it never caught on in the US.
