Esmée or Renée - although I love the brassy charm of Renee, I've known to many awful people with this name. Plus, I prefer it for a boy. So, Esmee it is.
Eve or Eva? I like Eve. It sounds shifty.
Olivia or Octavia? Octavia, no question.
Soleil or Mireille? Mireille.
Kennedy or Reagan? Reagan, but it's because of The Exorcist, not the president :)
Maristella or Candelaria? Candelaria. So goth!
Brontë or Austen? Bronte. It's so clumsy!
Cheyenne or Dakota? Cheyenne. I do legitimately think it's pretty.
Lucy or Eleanor? Lucy. So cute!
Juliana or Mariana? Juliana. I love "Jules" as a nn.
Lorelei or Leilani? Lorelai
Lilo or Zazu? Neither, skip
Saylor or Scout? Saylor. But I'd prefer it spelled correctly. I do actually think Sailor is a pretty and neo-romantic name.
Stella or Lily? Stella, though I'd prefer Estelle.
Adriana or Ariana? Adriana. Ariana is fluff and nonsense.
Eve or Eva? I like Eve. It sounds shifty.
Olivia or Octavia? Octavia, no question.

Esmée: it sounds much prettier to me, and I would probably leave off the accent mark.
Eva: I like it better, it’s got a little more spunk.
Olivia: for sure! I love Olivia.
Soleil or Mireille? This is a hard one, as I don’t particularly care for either. Maybe Soleil, and I can have Sunny as a nickname.
Kennedy or Reagan? Ummm. I dislike both for girl…Reagan, I suppose.
Maristella or Candelaria? Geez, harder and harder. Maristella, I suppose. Don’t really care for candle to be part of my name.
Brontë or Austen? For me? Eek. They’re both awful for a female. I suppose Austen.
Cheyenne or Dakota? Cheyenne, definitely.
Lucy or Eleanor? Lucy. Much cuter and not so old lady-ish.
Juliana, for sure. Pretty and elegant.
Lorelei or Leilani? Leilani. I loved this name for my daughter, but it wouldn’t have suited her at all, plus… DH and I are both as white as white can be, and I really was unsure about whether it would be appropriate for us.
Lilo or Zazu? Lilo, I suppose.
Saylor or Scout? Saylor???
Stella or Lily? Lily. Very pretty, even if overused.
Adriana or Ariana? I suppose Ariana, although both are fairly awful :)
Eva: I like it better, it’s got a little more spunk.
Olivia: for sure! I love Olivia.
Soleil or Mireille? This is a hard one, as I don’t particularly care for either. Maybe Soleil, and I can have Sunny as a nickname.

Stella or Lily? Lily. Very pretty, even if overused.
Adriana or Ariana? I suppose Ariana, although both are fairly awful :)
Esmée - idk why exactly, but I wanna be Esmée today))
Eva - a tough one; Eva could be shortened to Eve.
Olivia - it will suit me better, although I quite like Octavia.
Mireille - I like Mira part.
Kennedy - it just sounds better.
Maristella - more NN options.
Brontë
Dakota - I'd probably have pronunciation issues with Cheyenne.
Eleanor - Eleanor is less common, imo, (at least I know only one).
Mariana - I've never met one, plus, it's charming.
Lorelei - more meaningful to me.
Lilo - I want something softer today.
Saylor - sounds better, also it reminds me of Skyler.
Lily - it's prettier. Can't help myself.
Adriana - Ariana reminds me of Arianism.

Lily - it's prettier. Can't help myself.
Adriana - Ariana reminds me of Arianism.
Renée - a classic, whereas Esmee is too trendy. I also don't like soft sss sound
Eve or Eva - Eve - short but spunky. Eva reminds me of Eva Braun
Olivia or Octavia - Olivia is almost too sweet, but I like the nicknames. Octavia sounds too harsh, almost too masculine. I'd prefer Olivia and use the nickname Liv.
Soleil or Mireille - Soleil, because I know someone named Mireille and she's a B*. If I could get away with it I'd use the nickname Sunny.
Kennedy or Reagan - two presidents. I'd rather name my daughter Kennedy, but be named Reagan myself. I really like the sound of rae.
Maristella or Candelaria - without a doubt Maristella because it reminds me of my grandmother. Plus I love that it means star of the sea.
WFL

what's WFL?
Will finish later :)
i thought it meant something bad sorry if rude
Esmée - I like the sound of it better and Renée is a bit too dated for me. I also love Esme’s meaning.
Eve - More simple, and to the point. For a daughter I think I would prefer Eva, because it’s better than Ava and very beautiful and glamorous.
Olivia - This one was hard. Olivia is a bit common for my generation but not nearly as common as it is for Generation Alpha. Octavia is a very nice name, but I just can’t see myself with it unfortunately. Octavia, however is the name I would prefer for a daughter as well.
Soleil - I like Soleil. It’s very sunny and beautiful. I also like the look. I dred soh-LEEL though. Mireille is lovely but not me.
Hard pass. - Kennedy is an overrated President and name with a very unfortunate meaning, not to mention chicken, and Reagan is even worse and not even attractive. Just shoot me.
Maristella - Very gorgeous and ethereal name. Like Stella over course. Candelaria isn’t bad but I don’t care for it for myself.
Brontë - No comment.
Cheyenne - Even though I really don’t care for either, I find Dakota more masculine than feminine.
Pass. - I don’t mind either and I like both Beatles’ songs but I can’t imagine being an Eleanor and I damn sure can’t imagine being a Lucy.
Juliana - Mariana is nice though.
Lorelei - Leilani is a family name. Lorelei is interesting and I like the story.
Eve - More simple, and to the point. For a daughter I think I would prefer Eva, because it’s better than Ava and very beautiful and glamorous.

Esmée or Renée - Esme; it's a family name and the usual spelling where I live. A dear friend who died on her honeymoon was Renée, so it only has one meaning for me.
Eve or Eva? - Eve. Neater and tidier than Eva, though Eva is a family name!
Olivia or Octavia? - Olivia. Elegant, Shakespearean, timeless. Too popular now, though. But the meaning of Octavia is too obvious!
Soleil or Mireille? - Have to be Mireille; I don't like it much but at least it's female.
Kennedy or Reagan? - Neither. I don't like lnfns and I'm not American.
Maristella or Candelaria? - Maristella, nn Stella!
Brontë or Austen? - Again, neither.
Cheyenne or Dakota? - Neither: they are place names that have no meaning for me at all.
Lucy or Eleanor? - Lucy, though I love them both.
Juliana or Mariana? - Mariana, nn Marianne (which I'd like anyway). The only Jul- name I like is Juliet.
Lorelei or Leilani? - Lorelei, nn Laura.
Lilo or Zazu? - Neither, not even at gunpoint.
Eve or Eva? - Eve. Neater and tidier than Eva, though Eva is a family name!
Olivia or Octavia? - Olivia. Elegant, Shakespearean, timeless. Too popular now, though. But the meaning of Octavia is too obvious!
Soleil or Mireille? - Have to be Mireille; I don't like it much but at least it's female.

Esmée - I like Renée, but Esmée suits me better.
Eve - More simple and less frilly than Eva, although I do like Eva.
Olivia - Way too common for girls my age but I still like it. It suits me better than Octavia.
Soleil - I had trouble deciding with this one. I went with Soleil but I like Mireille about equally.
Kennedy - Kennedy is cute, and while I like Reagan (REE-gun), I can't stand Reagan (RAY-gun), so I'd rather not have to correct people all the time.
Maristella - Candelaria sounds like "candle". I guess there's nothing wrong with that but I prefer Maristella.
Brontë - Actually a name I have used as an internet name in the past. I love it. I don't care for Austen.
Cheyenne - I took a while to decide here too. I don't really like either, but I guess Cheyenne is a little nicer than Dakota.
Eleanor - I love both Eleanor and Lucy, but Eleanor has more options for nicknames.
Mariana - My sister is Julia, so Juliana would be weird for me, even in theory. And Mariana is a very nice name.
Lorelei - Again, this was hard. Lorelei and Leilani are very similar in my head (and I like both), but I think Lorelei is more me.
Eve - More simple and less frilly than Eva, although I do like Eva.
Olivia - Way too common for girls my age but I still like it. It suits me better than Octavia.

Esmée or Renée. I'd rather be an Esmé, but I'll take Esmée too. It's a warm, dusty pink. Renée isn't bad, but it's too dates.
Eve or Eva: simply because it's more international. I love both names.
Olivia or Octavia: boring and overused Vs cool and ancient Roman.
Soleil or Mireille: definitely. Soleil doesn't feel like a name.
Kennedy or Reagan: the less atrocious of the two presidents.
Maristella or Candelaria: very baroque.
Brontë or Austen: Austen sounds masculine.
Cheyenne or Dakota: I like the Anne sound I guess. I'd feel really weird using either. It's like naming your child Hungarian. Or Barbadian.
Lucy or Eleanor: bright and pleasant.
Juliana or Mariana: similar to my actual name.
Lorelei or Leilani: less murky and sea monsterish.
Lilo or Zazu: zazu rhymes with kazoo.
Saylor or Scout: at least it isn't a typo?
Stella or Lily: it's no longer one of my favourite names, but I reckon I'd make a pretty good Lily.
Adriana or Ariana: I'd rather be an Arianna (or Ariadne!), but I'll take it over pompous Adriana.
Eve or Eva: simply because it's more international. I love both names.
Olivia or Octavia: boring and overused Vs cool and ancient Roman.

Esmée or Renée?
Renée. It'd be pretty normal for someone my age and I like the name. Esmée would never have been given when I was born, it's very 21st centuryish, and anyway I don't like the sm sound enough, and would be annoyed by the ambiguity of whether it's an S or Z sound.
Eve or Eva?
Eve. I like Eve a lot. Eva sounds overblown to me and Hollywoody. And also Eve would seem more appropriate for me (someone of my age and ethnicity)
Olivia or Octavia?
Olivia. I know an Olivia who is about my age and it was a weird, sort of dorky name for us - about like a Mavis today, I am guessing. But it's not as theatrical as Octavia, which is nms.
Soleil or Mireille?
Soleil. It's so hippie, in a way I like. Mireille is a good name for a small terrier, IMO.
Kennedy or Reagan?
Kennedy. Partly because of political associations, and partly because it's namier and doesn't have ambiguity in the pronunciation. I like the name Regan for a girl (pronounced REE-gun), but I wouldn't want it for myself. Too much like "regal"
Maristella or Candelaria?
Candelaria. Maristella is nice, I just like the funkiness of Candelaria better and think it would suit me more.
Brontë or Austen?
