WDYT about the name Philomena. Give some opinions. :)

One of my porcelain dolls when I was a kid was named Philomena. I still love it, though perhaps it’s a bit much on a real child.
Gorgeous, very light, flowy and mature.
Philomena is so "old" that it has circled around and become fun again. :-)
Philippa is obviously the more common feminine Phil- name, but Philomena is still recognizable. I'd opt for Mena as a nickname, though.

This was the name of my great-great-great grandmother! I always thought it was very beautiful, and it's certainly a rare name around here, not even an "old lady" name. I've never met or heard of any living Philomenas. I would definitely use it.
In Italy Filomena conveys old woman all dressed in black. It’s very much fallen out of use.

Inconveniently long, and I don't like the rhythm. The only Philomena I'v ever known was so quiet, she was almost invisible.
