I love Camilla. I mostly love it for the nickname Millie. Camille is okay, but it’s a step down.

Camille is a feminine name in my country, most likely because of the comparison to Camilla, which is strictly feminine and much more popular. But I think of it as gender-neutral, which adds to the appeal for me. Camila? feels unfinished. I have a pet peeve for unsymmetrical names. Camilla is gorgeous, but very common.

I like all of them, but in this order: Camille, Camilla, Camila.
I prefer Camelia and Camellia, also in that order.

Camilla is so beautiful but Camille is so elegant.

I've always liked Camilla; if I thought it might shorten to Millie, I wouldn't! When I was young I used to think that Camilla and Diana would make good sister names, but royalty spoilt that idea.Camila just looks like a typo.Camille is interesting. In French it doesn't matter at all that it's unisex, but in English people seem to shy away from it as a male name.
