Finn

I like it, but it also kind of reminds me of fish. So, I don't know how usable it actually is.
I'm ambivalent. On the one hand, it has a refreshing and modern sound. On the other hand, its very trendy, and has an unnecessary N in it. But then again, is Fin too reminescent of fish fins? Does that have to be a bad thing? I can say one thing though; I like it more than Finley and Finnegan, and it could be a cute nickname for either. Maybe..

sounds like a name a mother who likes fairies would give to her son. Has a european forest vibe, almost celtic. I think it should be paired with something british-style, like Arthur or Henry, or even Charles. You could also give a more christian-european style middle name, like Martin, Peter or Matthew. I also like Finn Jonas (or Jonah if you want it a little more normal.).
Finn is one of my favorite masculine names, and has been for a couple years now. The primary reason it showed up on my radar, so to speak, is Mark Twain: I love his work, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is iconic. And, of course, Finn is a little easier to have as a name than Huckleberry / Huck. (I also used to be a fan of Sawyer, though the TV show Lost helped in that regard.) I could easily name a son of mine Finn.
My stock combo has been Finn Gabriel for a long time, but I've also played around with these combos:
Finn Elliott
Finn Dominic
Finn Sebastian
Finn Edmund
Finn Alistair
Finn Cameron
Finn Everett
Finn Everard
Finn Hugh
Finn Hugo (though I normally don't like Hugo)
Finn Isaac
Finn Ozias
Finn Richard
Finn Valentine
Finn William
Finn Xavier
Finn Ambrose
Finn Conrad
Finn Jonas
Finn Simon
Finn Tobias
Finn Sawyer :-)

Looks a bit unFINNished; also a bit fishy. I wouldn't use it, though I do enjoy Fionnula for a girl.
It's okay in my opinion. It reminds me of Finn from Adventure Time and Finland. It's okay with combos like
Finn Alexander
Finn Edward
