Is that a good thing? Sorry, but I always found the name to be extremely unattractive and it is also very nickname-ish.
"Peg" just isn't an attractive sound to me. I would hate to be given this name, especially in the 2020s.
I only ever knew one, she must be in her mid 30s now and it's her full name.
It makes me think of Peggy Bundy on that TV show, even though I never watched a full episode of it it is just so well known.
Something along the lines of Sally would be so much nicer.
