Re: A young Peggy!

Is that a good thing? Sorry, but I always found the name to be extremely unattractive and it is also very nickname-ish."Peg" just isn't an attractive sound to me. I would hate to be given this name, especially in the 2020s.I only ever knew one, she must be in her mid 30s now and it's her full name.It makes me think of Peggy Bundy on that TV show, even though I never watched a full episode of it it is just so well known.Something along the lines of Sally would be so much nicer. Please rate my list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/6232

I agree! I don't care for it either. It also brings to mind the term, "Peg leg" (like of a gruff old pirate) and of Peggy Hill (another character association) Sally would be a thousand times better.

I like these older names come back. This could have been a nn. Didn’t ask. It’s cute.
