I've heard of Ireland, but Irish...???? COMPLETELY new.

I have never seen it before. It seems to be very rare! But apparently has infrequently used for a long time. Mainly for girls!

It's very strange to me, and would take a little getting used to calling someone it. But I don't think it's any worse, that way, than Ireland, or America, or London. I personally am not attracted to it mainly because I don't like the -ish sound.

Irish is an ethnicity not a first name. Ireland is better but I’m not really fond of that for a name either.

It's a descriptor, and at best it sounds like one of those nns that used to be much more common, like Shorty or Slim or Tex or Red.

I'm fairly used to Erin as a name (I kind of have to be, given that it's my name), and I've met an Ireland (well, it was spelled Eyrelynn, for some reason, but pronounced Ireland) but I don't know about Irish as a name.

I feel English or Ireland would be better
