I'd expect it to be pronounced ahn-zhel because of the French-looking spelling. I would certainly not expect it to sound like 'angel'. Not that Angelle is a French word, to my knowledge, but that's unlikely to stop people.
I have difficulty with the concept of gender-specific angels. Yes, Michael and Gabriel and the lads ... but what do they need gender for? Sex? I have great difficulty with that too. And in most popular art - cards etc - angels are more likely to look feminine. Presumably those white robes affect people's perceptions. But I don't think that inventing Angelle when Angela exists is a particularly useful move.
