Caledonia looks like a fancy way of naming a girl Scotland to me, which is...eh, whatever. I've always liked the sound of Calpurnia. And I think it'd be a good name for a cat.

Well you know me I'll like anything that's classical & elaborate. I like Caledonia a shade more but both are fun.

I love Calpurnia a lot, I have for a long time. Caledonia is ok and fun but to me it almost sounds like a type of pasta dish.

Caledonia is my absolute GP. With Calpurnia, my mind immediately goes to To Kill a Mockingbird which isn't bad, I just can't break the distinction.

Caledonia is too football-club. Calpurnia could shorten to Cal - it would need to shorten to something - and that's fine. But it is a pain to pronounce, for some reason.
