Twin girls I met today were named...
Sonatina "Tina" and Symphony. I've had my eyes on Sonatina for a very long time but had never thought about Symphony. I really like it!! I've always like music-related names. What do you think of those names? Combo suggestions?Free Image Hosting by FreeImageHosting.net

Sorry but i think they are horrible! I love music but i definately wouldn't go for something as tacky as that. Why not after a composer that you admire? At the moment im thinking of using Igor, Bela, Claude, Felix and Maxim after composers i like.~~* BEX *~~Surfing is my religion!Image hosting by Photobucket

Sonatina is okay because of the nn possibilities. Symphony however...I just can't imagine that as a girl's name. I am a music major and for me a symphony is something to be written, performed, and analysed, not something to name a child.I am not a fan of term names, usually, but Sonatina and Aria would be kind of cute I think. they could be called "Sona" and "Ari" or "Tina" and "Ari".

I think I prefer Sonata to Sonatina, which sounds like Sonia and Tina smooshed together to me. :/ Symphony doesn't really appeal to me--it reminds me of "simple-minded" and "dumpy."I like music-related names, too, but I tend to go for the names of the musicians I admire. Thus why I love Janis, Elvis, Etta, Billie, etc. :) Plus, I have the honour of coincidentally sharing my name with that of Amy Ray (but hers is first-last, and mine's first-middle) of the band Indigo Girls, so musician naming is inherent in me. ;) (It's funny that my parents called me Amy Rae, as they both love the Indigo Girls as much as I do.)No combo suggestions just now. In a bit, perhaps. :)Array

Yes, Sonata and Symphony would be a nicer set, imo
