Not a fan of Shepherd but if I had to pick, Shepherd Vaughn.

I don't like it, but of the combos, Shepherd Vaughn and Shepherd Matthias are best.

Years ago I did some research on the earliest names recorded for births in the first European colony on the east coast of Australia, and there was a woman named Shepherdess who named her daughter Shepherdess. I thought that was rather fascinating.

I like Vaughn, Alistair and Matthias

Don’t love the name. Out of the MN combos, I think Shephard Vaughn flows the best.

Honestly? As a first name it’s terrible. Vaughn, Alaric and Alistair are fab, and Marcellus and Matthias are okay. Please don’t diminish them by pairing them with Shepherd.

I don't think of it as a human name at all. It would be good for a dog, though, and Shep is easy to call.

It seems more like a title than a name, maybe because I associate it with the character from Firefly. For the same reason I find it too over-the-top religious, like something an fundamentalist might use. If I had to pick a combo from your list Matthias is a nice MN.
