Aaron and Erin?!!!
U.S. Olympic swimmer Aaron Peirsol has an older sister named Erin! I can't figure out what their mother was thinking when she named them like that! What do you guys think?

They aren't pronounced the same with my accent(we say AH-rawn for Aaron and EH-rin for Erin). But still far too close for siblings.

I pronounce them differently:
Aaron = AIR-run or AR-run
Erin = Eh=rinThat aside though, they are rather too similar.

Yeah, see.... I pronounce them AIR-uhn and AIR-in, with the difference if the final syllabel, but the similarity if just awful.

That's no good, no good at all. Funny, my mom and I were taking the other day and she said something about an Erin. I finally figured out she was taking about an Aaron, though, and suddenly the name sounded different, even though she pronounces them identically.Michelle

Must of been hard to know which one the parents wanted when the called either name, lol. Too close for my tastes as a sib set.
