Oriana
Today I met a woman of around 40 who had the middle name Oriana. WDYT?

I like it, the meaning of gold is rather nice too.
Dont like it, prefer Ariana
Beautiful and flowery, in a mature way. I like the nicknames Oro and Ori, but most likely no one would use them.
I like it. Where I live I've only met younger Orianas but it doesn't sound out of place on someone older either.

I adore it. It's elegant but fresh, classy but not frilly. Its meaning is beautiful, reminds me of sunsets.
Oriana is pretty common in Latin America, but underrated in Spain. I want to see it used more often.
Ria is a charming nickname.
And if I had to choose a middle name...
Oriana Eloise
Oriana Felicity
Oriana Stella
Oriana Verity
Oriana Zoe

Sounds heavy and clumsy to me. And I think I remember that Edward Wilson, who was the medical doctor on Scott's fatal polar expedition, was married to a woman named Oriana. Some sadist made us read a biography, or hagiography, of Wilson in our last year of school. Something like that can cloud one's judgement.
