Cato is definitely a masculine name, a nice masculine name, but I would advice against it on a girl it seems awkward on a female. (Biological FtM or non binary persons not included) For a boy it's very handsome. It's been hovering in the background of my name nerd consciousness since reading the Hunger Games for the first time 10 years ago. Of the boy names listed I like:
Cato Victor- very handsome and Gallant I love it!
Cato Vance- ditto
Cato Reid
Cato Florian
Cato Alexander- a masterpiece of a name my favorite here I think! This would be my recommendation
Cato Jasper
Cato Zephyr
Feel free to look at my Male MN ideas list in my PNLs if you want more ideas I try to "collect" them.
I would steer clear of Cato Lillian on a boy... was that a typo? no way would he appreciate that, also Cato Florence, Blair, or Cato Vivian, they may Technically be unisex but let's not kid ourselves they've too firmly established themselves in the girl camp at this point.
