Halle
What do you think of Halle? No, I'm not bothered by the Halle Berry association. I like her. **After supposedly dying on January 30, 2007 after eating tainted pancakes, she returned several times as an angel and was revealed to be alive on May 17, 2011. )**

I like it, it's much more mature than Hayley or even Hallie imoI like that Halle Berry has influenced the new generation, singer Halle Bailey's name seems to be a homage to her

I like Halle Berry. She is gorgeous, seems nice, and I think her acting ability is underrated. For the name Halle, I would probably mispronounce it if she wasn't famous. It looks like a feminine Hal but is pronounced like Hallie. I would go with the Hallie spelling for clarity.

I like it. It's interesting how the Halle spelling is sort of legitimized by Berry. I wonder if it'd be used as much, otherwise. Halle is a little bit more appealing than Hallie. It looks more modern or something.
It's sort of like Bette (my fave spelling of Betty).
It could be short for Halimede too. https://www.behindthename.com/name/halimede/submitted

I think Hallie is likable, as a NN or by itself...in a washed out but rich, organic way, if that makes sense - like the way natural dyes are pretty? It's a bit like Sally (which I also like) but doesn't strike me as old-fashioned in quite the same way, maybe because of Hailey.Halle is ok, but, when I saw it written my first thought was to pronounce it more like 'holla' and it reminds me of Valhalla or Holly more than Hallie, despite knowing who Halle Berry is.

I like Sally, too.

Halle Berry is pretty much the only association anyone has with this particular spelling, so right there that's a problem.
Also, I dont like the sound of it no matter how it's spelled. Hallie and Callie and Ellie and Millie and Maddie. Just frumpy and floppy and blah.

Halle, Callie, Ellie, and Maddie all sound young and exuberant, to me. Millie is the only one from your list that sounds frumpy.

It's ok, I prefer Hallie Hayley or Holly
