Re: Nuit Ma Ahathoor Hecate Sappho Jezebel Lilith Crowley (m)

I think it's neat. I have a bit of a thing for OTT dark and spooky, and Crowley, all that stuff, is interesting.
I also love Hecate. Lilith, not so much... it gets used quite a bit more than it ever used to, perhaps cos people see it as an interesting way to get 'Lily' while not just using 'Lily', and add some bargain-basement mysticism and edginess too. I've come across a handful of Liliths over the last few years, so it definitely seems to be getting more common. Also I've known / come across a fair few Armenian Liliths / Lilits?? Not sure what that's about.
Anyway, names I'd think fit the brief of dark, weird, historical/mythological:
Alecto
Amunet
Antigone
Asherah
Asteria
Celaeno
Chthonia
Circe
Cybele
Ereshkigal
Eris
Estrith
Lo-ruhamah
Meritamun
Nefertari
Nephthys
Nitocris
Nyx
Pharaildis
Satyrion
Sekhmet
Semiramis
Shamiram
Sollemnia
Solomonia
Tamesis
Tanaquil
Tancorix
Tanith
Tethys
Thouéris
Tiamat
Tomyris
Ulalume (Poe, yes)
Wulfrun
Walpurgis
Abaddon
Abraxas
Acheron
Algol (traditionally 'the' unlucky/bad omen star)
Amenthes
Amraphel ("one who speaks of dark things"...neat)
Archelaus
Azazel
Azrael
Balthazar (biblical, but it's always given me this 'dark' vibe for some reason)
Cerberus
Charon (apart everyone would think he was called Sharon, so...)
Chronos
Eltanin (mostly for the cool meaning "the dragon's head")
Erebus
Israfil (an angel, yes, but apocalyptic too)
Lycurgus
Mordred
Morpheus
Namtar
Nergal
Odysseus
Orestes
Orpheus
Osiris
Ozias (see Balthazar, similar vibes)
Phobos
Ptolemy
Sophereth
Sotiris
Theron (...or Therion)
Tristram
Tycho
Ulysses
Xenophon
Xerxes
Zarathustra
Zelos
Not all quite my style, and a lot of them you'd have to be Crowley-level extra to use, but I had fun. I sorta want to make a CAF based on this haha.
