Nuit Ma Ahathoor Hecate Sappho Jezebel Lilith Crowley (m)
A while back I looked at this name and, to say the least, I was confused, but also quite intrigued. I thought this name was cursed! Nuit Ma Ahathoor Hecate Sappho Jezebel Lilith. 7 names! 8 when you count Crowley! The little girl went by Lilith and died at the age of 2 in 1906. Her sisters name was Lola Zaza.
Decades on later, Jimmy Page (Who was infatuated with Aleister Crowley) gave his first daughter one of the middle names Lilith. Scarlet, coming from Aleister’s book, “Scarlet Woman” which was "a technical term complementary to that of the Beast for the office held by any directly inspired female medium of the gods.".
Anyways, What do you think of this name?
If you had to do a name similar, dark stuff, mysterious, mythological, etc. How would you name your son or daughter? No boundaries, no nothing.I’m curious to know!

I'm assuming the names all have Thelemic associations because of Nuit and Crowley, but I don't know much about how the others fit in.
I like Hecate, Sappho, and Lilith.
Are plants mysterious? I couldn't resist adding plants...
Gaia Rowan
Artemis Luna
Raven Andromeda
Willow Hecate
Asherah Lilith
Morgana Sappho
Runa Antigone
Branwen Sage
Nuria Thalassa
Vasilisa Noor
Ylva Medea
Athena Morwen
Isis Cornelia

I love mythological names, so I have a ton on my guilty pleasure list!
Asherah
Diana
Minerva
Inanna- bonus points for being a goddess of sex and war
Persephone- one of my favorites, and she is also queen of the underworld
Asteria
Astraea
Thalassa
Ourania
Eurydice
Isis- I'm still so mad that this is unusable now
Morpheus
Charon
Cernunnos
Asterion
Zephyr
Boreas
Some others that are over the top and/or goth-inspired:
Winter- it's unisex!
Elvira
Altaluna
Corinthia
Desideria
Scheherazade
Oberon
Astrophel
Dorian
November- it's also unisex!
Koschei- he's a wicked sorcerer from Russian fairy tales, seems to fit the theme

The firstborn gets named after goddesses, a poet, a demon, and a notorious queen, and the secondborn gets named after the mistress? Hmm. I wonder if he knew Lola means grandmother.
Nuit is really cute; it's disappointing to me they called her Lilith. Lilith and Lola does work well as a sibset, but it's not as fun to me as Nuit and Lola.
Medea, Medusa, Nero, and Icarus are the only names I can think of at the moment that I really like but would consider too dark to use. When I try to imitate the style, it ends up mostly sounding kitschy or like I picked it on drugs rather than being darkly mysterious...
Confucius Loki Ichabod Nero Wolfgang Hannibal Jehoshaphat?
Bodhi Gandalf Pablo Patrick Meriwether Sunshine Guy?
Medusa Ulalume Norn Mehitabel Bridie Blodeuwedd Katahdin?
Nessie Hippolyta Valkyrie Augustina Oonagh Evita Loveday?
Mordred Icarus Nero...? Yikes.
It'd take some more thought.
Medusa and Mordred might be funny as siblings in a story or cartoon.

I think it's neat. I have a bit of a thing for OTT dark and spooky, and Crowley, all that stuff, is interesting.
I also love Hecate. Lilith, not so much... it gets used quite a bit more than it ever used to, perhaps cos people see it as an interesting way to get 'Lily' while not just using 'Lily', and add some bargain-basement mysticism and edginess too. I've come across a handful of Liliths over the last few years, so it definitely seems to be getting more common. Also I've known / come across a fair few Armenian Liliths / Lilits?? Not sure what that's about.
Anyway, names I'd think fit the brief of dark, weird, historical/mythological:
Alecto
Amunet
Antigone
Asherah
Asteria
Celaeno
Chthonia
Circe
Cybele
Ereshkigal
Eris
Estrith
Lo-ruhamah
Meritamun
Nefertari
Nephthys
Nitocris
Nyx
Pharaildis
Satyrion
Sekhmet
Semiramis
Shamiram
Sollemnia
Solomonia
Tamesis
Tanaquil
Tancorix
Tanith
Tethys
Thouéris
Tiamat
Tomyris
Ulalume (Poe, yes)
Wulfrun
Walpurgis
Abaddon
Abraxas
Acheron
Algol (traditionally 'the' unlucky/bad omen star)
Amenthes
Amraphel ("one who speaks of dark things"...neat)
Archelaus
Azazel
Azrael
Balthazar (biblical, but it's always given me this 'dark' vibe for some reason)
Cerberus
Charon (apart everyone would think he was called Sharon, so...)

Sophia. It's very mythological and tragic and mystical and mysterian, IMO. Despite having gotten popular.
Possibly Eris. I just like its sound, and I think a salute to a goddess of discord could even be auspicious these days.
I used to have a fondness for Asphodel. I decided it's nms. Also I fancied Lethe for a while. (saying it lee-thee) Too dark for me.
