Agnes and Aggie
Wdyt of Agnes and Aggie. The popularity of Agnes is going up, apart from in the US. Imo, Agnes is fine, Aggie is ugly. If I was Agnes I'd go by Nes.

Agnes is very sensible, and while I wouldn't use it myself, I'd love to encounter a young one. A little witchy girl named Agnes. Aggie is dreadful.

I feel the opposite. I like Aggie, but hate Agnes. I don't love Agatha, but like it a lot more than Agnes.

Agnès is fine, and doesn’t need a nickname (no name really does actually). Aggie is awful.

Aggie is ugly indeed. The sound is just horrible. I used to know one and she wasn't exactly wonderful either. Agnes is pretty and soft and gorgeous. I like it.

I like Agnes, it's vintage and adorable, but not Aggie - it's too cutesy.I'd use Nessa as a diminutive of Agnes.

It’s my middle name and I love it. The people I know called Agnes tend either to go by Nancy or SengaI think I would go with Nancy or Nan rather than Aggie if it was my first name.
