I probably wouldn't do an intentional pattern, especially for firsts, since they already share being triplets, and I'd just use names I wanted to anyway. If I had to do a similar theme I'd probably go for meaning, origin, or number of letters; something that wouldn't be too similar in sound. I think your choices go nicely together.

In the last triplet thread I went with same initials for fun and because it would be very tempting but in real life I would avoid similar initials or themes because they'll have a hard enough time developing their own personalities and I wouldn't want to delay that.
