Charmagne? Oh dear. Leave out the -le- and it becomes feminine? That is quite simply horrendous.
What really interests me is the variety. No two are even somewhat alike: OK, Basil and Francis have conventional spellings but they still seem very different to me. And the other two are just different for the sake of it, I think.
